⁹ Then Jehoahaz slept with his fathers and they buried him in Samaria. His son Joash became king in his place.

¹⁰ In the thirty-seventh year of King Joash of Judah, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned 16 years. ¹¹ But he did what was evil in Adonai’s eyes. He did not turn away from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he caused Israel to commit, but he walked in them.
